Frequently Asked Questions
What File Types are Needed for Screenprinting?
Files types that are necessary for screenprinting include Adobe Illustrator (.ai) Files, Adobe Photoshop (.psd) Files, Encapsulated Post Script (.eps) files, or Corel Draw (.cdr) files, as most of these are vector files that are composed of paths, and can be manipulated without the artwork losing detail. Other file types such as .jpg, .bmp, .png, .gif, .tiff and .pdf may require a re-drawing fee. If using a Photoshop (.psd) file, make sure the file is created at 300 DPI (dots per inch) to avoid a re-drawing fee.
How much is a Re-Drawing Fee?
The cost of a re-draw fee varies with the amount of artwork that is needed to be re-drawn. We charge $50/hr for re-drawing artwork. Upon receiving the artwork in question we will give you an estimate as to how long the re-drawing process would take before starting the re-draw.
